The League of Women Voters of Dakota County is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences policy through education and advocacy. LWV Dakota County is partnering with Solar United Neighbors of Minnesota which is hosting an information session regarding a proposed solar co-op in Apple Valley next Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Apple Valley Senior Center, Yosemite Room, 14601 Hayes Rd, Apple Valley, MN 55124. LWV of Edina and Conservation Minnesota will host a panel discussion Tuesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. titled Red + Blue = Green: Bipartisan Solutions to Protecting the Environment. The discussion will be moderated by Tom Horner, former Independence Party candidate for Governor of Minnesota, and will feature three panelists:

LWV Bloomington will host an Earth Day program regarding air quality Monday, April 23. Registration begins at 7 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:30 p.m. Speakers include:
