There are many ways to become involved in and support the work of LWV of Dakota County. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Attend Our Meetings
Our meetings are generally held the first Tuesday of each month, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Our meetings are currently being held virtually due to COVID-19. Prior to the pandemic our meetings were typically held at a Dakota County library. Our meetings are free and open to the public and we encourage those interested in joining LWV of Dakota County to attend. Find information about our next meeting on our home page/blog.
Volunteers are needed to make our voter registration events successful and our members volunteer in a variety of other capacities. If you are interested in becoming more involved please contact us.
Whether you are a member of LWV of Dakota County or not, you can support our work with a one-time or recurring monthly donation via this form. Our contributors are critical partners in creating a government that is responsive to the will of Minnesotans. We do not receive funding from any governmental agency and rely almost solely upon donations. Your gift will help us educate, advocate, and reform government by empowering Minnesotans to have their voices heard. As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, donations to LWV of Minnesota are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please contact us if you need assistance making a contribution individually or via a workplace giving program.
Even if you are not yet a member of LWV of Dakota County, you are free to join our mailing list (typically 2-3 emails per month at most). You may also use this form to subscribe to newsletters from LWV of Minnesota.
