2021 Election Results

Yesterday, November 2nd, was the 2021 Municipal & School District General Election in Dakota County.

Below are the names of the winning school board candidates for each of the districts, along with a link to where more information about each candidate can be found.

• ISD 191: Suad (Sue) Said

• ISD 194: Cinta Schmitz

• ISD 196: Sakawdin Mohamed, Bianca Virnig, Art Coulson

• ISD 197: Sarah Larsen, Marcus Hill, Jon Vaupel

• ISD 199: Carrie Lounsberry, Sarah Larsen, Charles D. Thompson

• ISD 200: Carrie Banaszewski Tate, Mike Reis, Jessica Dressely

Additionally:

• ISD 194 voted to expand their school board to seven members, and the City of Lakeville authorized a $38 million bond referendum.

• ISD 197 voted to renew levies worth $1.2 million per year to fund schools.

• ISD 719 voted against a $3.5 million per year technology levy to fund improvements in school technology.
