Our Voter Resources page includes a complete list of locations where voters may obtain and cast an absentee ballot in person within Dakota County and Scott County. Each of those locations will offer in-person absentee voting for the primary election from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, and until 5 p.m. on Monday, August 10. If you are not registered to vote you can complete a voter registration application at the same time as completing your absentee ballot. Voters who have returned an absentee ballot may track its status to make sure it will be counted here.
If you are planning to vote in person on election day, Tuesday, August 11, you can find your polling place here and a copy of your sample ballot here. If you are not registered to vote you can register at your polling place using one of several options to document that you are eligible to vote at that location. Almost all polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day.
