The League of Women Voters of Dakota County mourns the passing of our former leadership team member, Paula Overby, whose death was announced by her family today. Beyond her political candidacies, Paula was an active and contributing member of LWV of Dakota County for several years and an engaged community member, with particular interest in promoting civil discourse, forming coalitions, and creating “a more perfect union.” She worked tirelessly to advance the causes and ideals she cared about most and to give voice to those marginalized in our society. We send our deepest sympathies to her family and friends.
