Observer Corps Report - 6/4/2019 Dakota County Board Meeting

Observer Corps reports are submitted by LWV Dakota County members that volunteer their time to observe and take notes at government meetings of interest to Dakota County residents. While we strive for accuracy, these observations may be incomplete or inaccurate in some respects.

Meeting Summary: Agenda item 10.1 consisted of a presentation on and authorization of a contract between Dakota County and Scott County which are partnering on a Public Health Information System (PH-Doc). Agenda item 11.1 consisted of discussion related to bonding requests to be submitted to Minnesota Management and Budget in advance of Minnesota's 2020 legislative session. Topics of discussion included public safety and greenway improvements, the regional household hazardous waste collection and recycling facility, and the veteran's memorial greenway.

The Friends of Robert Trail Library gave Dakota County Library a gift of $879.
