LWV Minnesota Issues Action Alert to Protect Voting Rights During COVID-19 Pandemic

Last week leaders from the League of Women Voters Minnesota, The Arc Minnesota, and LeadMN authored a letter to key Minnesota state legislators encouraging them to protect voting rights during the COVID-19 pandemic. The letter recommends sending every registered voter an absentee ballot, accepting absentee ballots postmarked by election day, and beginning to process returned absentee ballots earlier. The letter also calls for changes to polling places and in-person absentee voting locations to ensure they can accommodate voters while adhering to social distancing guidelines. If you support these measures you can take action and contact your legislators here.
