Lakeville City Council Park Bond Referendum

The Lakeville City Council will be including a $38 million bond referendum in an upcoming November 2nd special election for the purpose of community park improvements, trail connectivity, an ice rink at Hasse Arena, and more. These projects will be undertaken between 2022 and 2025, and cost $88 annually for the median home valued at $376,000.

Since the last bond referendum in 1994, the population of Lakeville has more than doubled. This bond package would help Lakeville's growing population meet their physical and recreational needs with a new park, Avonlea Community Park, as well as modernization of the East Community Park, including canoe racks and native prairie areas.

Community members can vote at their regular voting precinct on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, or by absentee ballot.
