Public Input Sought on Lone Oak Road/70th Street and Argenta Trail Project

Comments are being sought on an environmental assessment for the County Road 26 (Lone Oak Road/70th Street) and County Road 63 (Argenta Trail) improvement project in Eagan and Inver Grove Heights. County Road 26 would be expanded from an two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided highway between Highway 55 and Highway 3. The expanded road would include turn lanes, improved stormwater management infrastructure, and multi-use trails on each side.

The County Road 63 construction would include a new alignment with two lanes, stormwater infrastructure, and trails on each side. A new roundabout would be constructed at the intersection of County Road 26 and County Road 63. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2021 and continue through the 2023 construction season.
