May 2019 Member/Public Meeting

Updated: Jun 16, 2019

The main topic at our May meeting was a discussion regarding the process legislative proposals follow from conception, to being introduced and considered as a bill, to being enacted as law. Our presenters included Karen Lenertz, Deputy Revisor with the Office of the Revisor of Statutes, J.W. Emmerich, Legislative Assistant to Sen. Nick Frentz, and our very own Carley Martin, who is a former Legislative Assistant in the Minnesota House. Although we ran out of time during the meeting, all of Karen's presentation is included in the slides from the meeting.
