Observer Corps reports are submitted by LWV Dakota County members that volunteer their time to observe and take notes at government meetings of interest to Dakota County residents. While we strive for accuracy, these observations may be incomplete or inaccurate in some respects.

Agenda item 6.1 regarding the CSAH70 expansion project was an update to the County Board. An open house is expected to be held in June or July 2019. Changes, updates on signage for detours, and businesses affected by this project were discussed.
Agenda item 6.2 regarding the CP 78-10 project in Castle Rock was reviewed. Maps showing changes and concerns about Castle Rock feeling engaged were discussed and it was agreed that everyone was involved and supportive of the end goal. Commissioner Slavik relayed conversations he has had with key Castle Rock individuals.
