We are happy to announce that we will host candidate forums for the ISD 196 and ISD 200 school board candidates this fall. We are co-hosting the ISD 200 (Hastings) candidate forum with the American Association of University Women Hastings Branch on October 2 at Hastings Middle School. We are hosting the ISD 196 (Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan) candidate forum on October 9 at Rosemount City Hall.
Ballots will be cast for the candidates in each school board race starting September 20 via absentee voting through the general election on November 5. Questions for the candidates will be accepted in writing both during the forums and in advance via email to lwvdakotacty@lwvmn.org. The forums will be broadcast on community television as well as online.
