Secretary of State's Office Seeks Volunteers for Voter Registration at Minnesota State Fair

The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State is seeking volunteers to register voters and provide voters with information at their booth at the State Fair Grandstand. The State Fair runs from August 23 to September 3. Volunteers will receive a ticket for each day they are working at the booth and can explore the Fair before or after their assigned shift. The booth will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with multiple shifts ranging between 5 and 8 hours. Volunteers will be paired with SoS staff in the booth at all times.

Training will be provided focusing on nonpartisan office policy, voter registration, voter engagement, voter outreach materials, booth operation, and other logistics. Training dates will be scheduled by July 27. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Director of Voter Outreach, Nasser Mussa, at or 651-201-1339.
