LWV Upper Mississippi River Region ILO to Host Discussion on Watershed-scale Environmental Efforts

At 1 p.m. on February 1, 2021, the LWV Upper Mississippi River Region Inter League Organization will host a discussion about how local actions can improve soil and water quality in a watershed. The discussion will be livestreamed via LWV UMRR ILO's Facebook page and if you are interested in participating, you can email lwvumrr@lwvmn.org to request a link to the Zoom meeting. Speakers will include Heidi Keuler, Coordinator for the Fishers & Farmers Partnership for the Upper Mississippi River Basin, Clark Porter, Environmental Specialist for the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, and Faith Luce, a recent graduate from the University of Northern Iowa with degrees in Geology, Earth Science and Environmental Science.
